  • What type of printing services do we offer?
At A Thousand T Shirt, we offer four types of printing services to cater to all your t-shirt printing needs. Our printing services include: 1. Heat transfer printing (HTV): This method involves using a special vinyl material that is cut into a design and then heat pressed onto the t-shirt. 2. Sublimation printing: This method involves printing the design on a special paper, which is then heat pressed onto the t-shirt. This method is ideal for printing full-color designs. 3. Screen printing: This method involves creating a stencil of the design and then using it to apply ink onto the t-shirt. This method is ideal for printing large quantities of t-shirts. 4. Direct Transfer Film (DTF): This method involves printing the design onto a special film, which is then heat pressed onto the t-shirt. This method is ideal for printing designs with multiple colors or gradients. No matter which printing method you choose, we guarantee high-quality prints that will last wash after wash.
  • What is Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)?
Q: What is Heat Transfer Vinyl? A: Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a type of vinyl material that is used to create custom designs on garments, such as t-shirts, hats, and bags. Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a popular method of designing and printing T-shirts. It is a process that involves cutting out designs and letters from colored vinyl. The cutouts are then placed onto the garment and printed using a heat press. The heat and pressure combination makes the artwork long-lasting and durable. At A Thousand T Shirt, we use the HTV method to create our unique and stylish T-shirt designs. We strive to ensure that our designs are of the highest quality and durability so that you can enjoy wearing them for a long time. If you have any further questions about our T-shirts or the HTV process, please do not hesitate to contact us.
  • What is sublimation and how different is it different from traditional printing?
A: Sublimation is a printing technique that involves using heat to transfer ink onto fabric. Unlike traditional printing methods, where ink is printed onto the surface of the fabric, sublimation allows the ink to become a part of the fabric itself. This results in a more vibrant and durable print that won't crack or fade over time. Sublimation is perfect for creating unique and detailed designs on T-shirts and other apparel. A: All of the design elements including the team logo, colors, and numbers become a part of the fabric in sublimation as opposed to other processes like embroidery, where they’re “sewn” onto the surface. Sublimation printing is perfect for customizing t-shirts, hats, bags, and more. At A Thousand T Shirt, we use sublimation to create high-quality and long-lasting prints on all of our products. A: Sublimated T-shirts should be washed in cold water and hung to dry to ensure the longevity of the print. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners, as this can damage the print. Ironing is not recommended, as the heat can cause the ink to fade or crack. Following these care instructions will keep your T-shirt looking vibrant and new for longer.
